Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Prazo is an academic planning tool operated by Synetic Solutions (Toronto, Canada). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it — in plain language, because that is how we would want it explained to us.
What we collect
- Account information. Your name and email address, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk.
- Your academic content. The courses, assignments, meetings, notes, and documents you add or import. This data exists so the product can work; it is yours.
- Usage of AI features. When you use features like syllabus import or Today's Focus, we record that a request happened and its size (token counts) to enforce fair usage limits. Documents and transcripts you submit to those features are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce your results.
- Technical basics. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) used to keep the service running and secure.
- How the product is used. We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand which features are used and where people get stuck — for example, which pages are visited and when a plan limit is reached. These events carry account and feature identifiers only, never the content of your courses or assignments, and session recordings mask everything you type.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.
- We do not use your academic content to train AI models, and our agreements with our AI provider prohibit them from doing so.
Organization workspaces
If a school or tutoring organization adds you as a member, work you create inside that organization's workspaceis visible to that organization's staff — that oversight is the point of the feature, and the workspace switcher labels it clearly. Your personal workspace is always private to you; no organization can see it.
Who processes data on our behalf
Clerk (authentication), Railway (hosting and databases), Anthropic (AI processing), PostHog (product analytics), and Resend (email delivery). These providers process data in the United States. We choose providers with strong security practices and share only what each needs to do its job.

You can access and correct your information in the app. To export your data or delete your account and its content entirely, email support@prazo.ca and we will complete it within 30 days. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
