Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Prazo, an academic planning service operated by Synetic Solutions (Toronto, Canada). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Prazo helps you organize courses, assignments, and academic work, including AI-assisted features such as document import and daily planning suggestions. We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

Your account

Keep your sign-in method secure and your account information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Prazo.

Your content

The academic content you add belongs to you. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service: hosting your content, backing it up, and — for AI features you invoke — sending the relevant material to our AI provider to generate your results. We do not use your content to train AI models.

AI features

AI-generated output (extracted deadlines, planning suggestions) can be wrong. Verify anything that matters — especially due dates — against the original source. AI features are subject to fair-usage limits that vary by plan.

Organization workspaces

Organizations (schools, tutoring companies) manage their own membership. Work you create inside an organization's workspace is visible to its staff, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't break the law, don't attempt to breach or overload the service, don't abuse the AI features, and don't use Prazo to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans

Prazo has two plans for personal workspaces. Free keeps up to 2 courses active and includes manual planning, calendar import and export, deadline reminders, the daily digest, and monthly allowances of 2 syllabus imports, 10 AI focus generations and 3 voice captures. Pro removes the course limit and adds transcript import, the weekly review email and larger monthly AI allowances. Allowances reset on the first of each calendar month. We may adjust allowances; if we reduce what Free includes we will say so in the product before it takes effect.

Pro preview

Every new personal workspace starts with a 30-day Pro preview at no charge and with no payment method required. When the preview ends, the workspace moves to Free unless you have subscribed to Pro. We will remind you inside the product and by email before it ends.

Parked courses

When a workspace moves to Free with more than 2 active courses — at the end of a preview or of a paid subscription — the courses beyond that number are parked. A parked course and its assignments are kept and remain readable, but are excluded from your plan, calendar feeds, AI focus, reminders and emails until it is reactivated. Nothing is deleted by parking. You choose which courses stay active; if you have not chosen when the change takes effect, the 2 most recently updated courses stay active. You can change which courses are active at any time, and subscribing to Pro reactivates every parked course immediately.

Fees and billing

Pro costs CAD$5 per month or CAD$39 per year, in Canadian dollars, billed in advance through our payment provider (Stripe). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings; Pro remains active until the end of the period you have paid for, after which the workspace moves to Free and the parking rules above apply. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change; we will give notice before a change applies to an existing subscription. Organization and institutional workspaces are licensed under separate written terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 CAD if you have paid nothing.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@prazo.ca. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes and contact

If these terms change materially, we will notify you before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions: support@prazo.ca
